My favorite Sweetpea, now at 2 years old!!

TWOI can’t believe how fast time flies!  Seems like yesterday when I started photographing this little one when she was in the womb.  Now here we are a little over two years later and she is turning 2 years old!  I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow and develop her own little personality.  Had such a wonderful evening chasing her around, snapping pictures when I could.  I know both myself and her parents were pretty tired by the end of the evening!

Daddy’s Little Girl

Mike & Megan – Sweet as peaches!

I absolutely loved my time with this couple!!! There’s so many things I like to photograph, but engagements are definetly one of my favorites!!!  I love being able to catch that silly little twinkle in the eyes and finding that one picture that makes every heart melt.  To view the slide show of these photos, click on any photo.

The Twin Jewels

I always love getting a chance to take pictures of newborns.  These two precious jewels, were “technically” not newborns. (they were a month old, but since being born premature, we’ll just go with it.)  I couldn’t have asked for a better pair!  They slept pretty much through the whole shoot with the exception of a few potty breaks and feedings.   Loved my time with these adorable little girls.  To view each picture in a larger format, click on one of the photographs to open the gallery.

Little Miss Sweetpea

I love getting the chance to watch a child grow.  This little one I have enjoyed photographing since she was hidden in her momma’s belly.  Now here she is at 6 months old.  So many changes, yet so many things that stay the same.  This was her first outdoor photoshoot (with the exception of a few outdoor newborn shots) so we had lots of fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

Beauty and the Dust

What a title! 🙂  I’ve had a chance to put three of my four beauties on my blog, but until recently, I have not had a chance to go out with my oldest beauty.  (Being a college student does that to you I guess. Hahaha)  Finally, I got a chance to go out my beauty and her wonderful guy.  We had lots of laughs and managed to get some good shots too!

The Dawn of a New Day

Each new day is the start of new possibilities, new growth and new lessons to be learned.  That’s the amazing thing about a NEW DAY.  You get to start fresh to make forward progress.  It doesn’t matter what the past has held because there is nothing you can do to change it.  The only thing you can do is to take the opportunity to learn from the past and apply it to a new day.  Forward motion.

My lesson learned recently……take the camera with you.  (Yes, even if that means sounding like my dad… SIGH)  This way when an opportunity rises, then I’m ready to capture it.  As I get farther into my photography, I begin to understand my father better. (For those of you who don’t know…I grew up with a father that toted at least 2 cameras EVERYWHERE. We have barely any pictures with him in the picture and even less where he does not have a camera in his hand. 🙂 )  So, since my lesson has been more so learned…….I hope you enjoy what I was able to capture.

Let’s Go Exploring…..Well, sort of.

3 of my beauties and I decided to go exploring.  The problem was that we were pretty short on time and none of us could think of some “exciting” places to go.  So we ended up at the local park.  Not the most orginal spot, but we had a good time just sitting on the ground watching people go by.  The playground hosted many playing children and that was a souce of entertainment for us.  The weather was beautiful without a cloud in the sky.  Here’s some of what was captured:

Another Waiting Opportunity

Sometimes life gives you some wonderful opportunities!  We just have to be on the lookout for each little morsel of time.  Now that I have been on the lookout more and more for these moments, I seem to find them.  Because I am a mother of 4 beauties, one on one time doesn’t happen as often as I would like.  Especially with my youngest.  So this is why this particular “waiting opportunity” I will cherish.

My two middle beauties were applying for a job in which MANY people were applying so what this meant for me was that I had to wait.  So my youngest beauty and I dropped her sisters off at the office they were applying at and we took a small side trip to go exploring while they were occupied.  Here is what I captured (to view each picture at a larger size, click on one of the pictures):

Continuing My Hour of Play

This is a continuation from my previous post.  Enjoy!

An hour to Play

Being a mom of my  4 beauties. . . regularly, I will find myself doing some waiting.  Although, now that they are getting a little older,  I don’t have to wait as much.  However,  yesterday I found myself in just that predicament.  My second eldest is doing her senior project and had to have a hour long meeting with her mentor downtown.  I have been needing an excuse to get out and start trying out my new camera and this became the perfect opportunity!  The parking lot was a small lot. (Just enough for about 10 cars)  But I spent that entire hour in that lot without getting even remotely bored.  Thought I would share some of the things I found.
